In this the 5th episode of “The Road Home” epic 3000 mile journey, the motorcycle has been put back in tip-top shape and Filmmaker Daniel Wolfert is heading west from Yukon, Oklahoma across the windy plains of the Texas Panhandle to once again spend the night in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. This time he arrives feeling good and does a little sight-seeing to the Blue Hole….

I recently purchased a used 1995 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. The speedometer isn’t functioning but that will be fixed soon. It’s been in my garage for about two weeks with me doing maintenance on it as the bike was obviously neglected. The road home – a motorcycle odyssey – part 2

This is part 2 of the 3000 mile motorcycle journey of Filmmaker Daniel Wolfert traveling across the country on a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 Motorcycle. This time Daniel starts in Flagstaff, AZ and ends up in Santa Rosa, New Mexico with beautiful scenery all along the way.

The Piece of sheet metal i used to hold the mount was too thin in this prototype, also the tripod top i used for the actual camera mount has a 90 degree flip feature, that allows the camera to be turned to portrait mode. the problem with that is that it makes the rattling sound you hear in the video. but some super glue will take care of that. update: i’ve since figured out how to zoom in the came…



Motorcycle trip – bluebonnets – tx motorcycle ride on a v-star & vulcan

Kawasaki Vulcan & Yamaha V-Star motorcycle road trip in search of Texas Bluebonnet , Indian Paint Brushes and other Texas Wildflowers. We left Montgomery, Tx and traveled through Plantersville, Navasota, Independence and Burton. Thw wildflowers were a little scarce because of the dry winter but we found a few fields. Good ride on 390 and Hwy 105….
